2/30 Ciderhouse and wall
attached to south-west
about 30 yards south-east
of Green Plock

Ciderhouse. Probably early C19 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble
and weatherboarded timber-frame with Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan
of three plus two bays aligned north-east/south-west. South-east elevation
has deep supporting wall extending to left of weatherboarded upper part
about 20 yards beyond two-bay south-west extension. North-west elevation
has late C20 ledged door to centre of main three-bay part. Right part is
recessed behind lean-to-canopy. North-east gable has square opening and
ledged door to right-hand side. Interior of three-bay part has complete
cider press and mill, about ten feet in diameter, with oak rim and draw-
bar for donkey etc. Trusses of both parts have triple angle struts with
unsquared timbers.
