Barn. Probably C18. Deep sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame partly
finished with woven panels and weatherboards and partly with brick nogging.
Asbestos tile roof. Five bays aligned east/west. North elevation has weather-
boards and some areas of woven infill to left. Full-height late C20 steel doors
to left of centre. Further left an early C20 brick buttress to the plinth.
East gable is weatherboarded; west gable has brick nogging. Frame is three
square panels high from cills to wall-plates. Interior has trusses of three
types: to threshing floor are angle struts rising from ties to principals;
gable trusses each have five queen struts to collars which carry overlapping
V-struts producing lozenge pattern; intermediate trusses each have queen struts
from ties to collars (RCHM, Vol I, p 17).
