II

House. Early-mid C19. Flemish brickwork with grooved pointing,
slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central hall plan with service
rooms in 2 short wings to rear. Recessed six-panelled door with
panelled reveals and margin glazed overlight, all within Tuscan
doorcase with flat corniced canopy. Flanking 16-paned sashes with
40cm gauged brick lintels. Sun fire insurance plate over central
upper 12-paned sash. Wide boxed eaves and roof hipped. Late C19
perforated ridge tiles. Two 4-flue brick stacks to base of rear
wings.
Interior: Left drawing room has contemporary dentilled fire
surround.
