House. c1730. Vitrified blue brick with red brick dressings,
slated roof. Two storeys and attic, 3 bays. Central 6-panelled
door within fluted doorcase and flat panelled canopy on shaped
brackets. To either side, late C18-early C19 canted bays with flat
roofs, and 12-paned sashes. Upper floor has five 12-paned sashes,
the centre with rubbed brick jambs and rounded head having key and
springing blocks. Flanking windows have heavy glazing bars and
gauged brick lintels also with stone key blocks and sills. End
full height pilasters with moulded brick capitals. Wide eaves with
paired modillions. Three dormers, one at centre with a segmental
pediment. Large external gable stacks with upper section panelled
with arched recess. Parallel rear range of early C19, extended to
south in late C19. Central rear door and large paned windows.
Interior: Altered drawing room to right of hall has panelling.
