in angle between chancel and organ
chamber, Church of St. John the
Baptist

Pedestal tomb; 1806; ashlar, square in plan. Weathered,
pyramidical top, on flat lid, moulded edge; square recessed
corners to main body: horizontally-fluted frieze above roll
moulding; outline of rectangular panel with cambered top formed by
dressing. Roll moulding to top of plinth. To Sarah, wife of
Samuel Elliott, and 2 children, died in infancy.
