2.5m east of south east corner of
chancel, Church of St. John the
Baptist

GV II

Chest tomb: late C18: stone. Weathered top, heavy projecting
moulding to edge; quarter-square corner balusters, with raised
moulded panel in sides and west end for inscriptions. East end
carving of urn with scroll handles. To Hester, wife of Thomas
Elliott, died 1777, Thomas Elliott died 1803, and various others,
latest date 1852.
