Two houses, now offices. c1820 with later C19 alterations to
facade. Stucco with tile roof and brick stack. 2 storeys with
attic; symmetrical 4-window range. Plinth, entablature over
1st floor and cornice to attic. Entrance to each end has
shaped lintel with key, overlight and glazed door, narrow
outer side windows. 2 large late C20 shop windows with gabled
surrounds; other windows have sills, and shaped lintels with
keys over horned sashes, lower glazing bars missing: side
lights have 4/1-pane sashes, 1st floor windows have outer
6/1-pane and inner 8/1-pane sashes, those to attic have outer
3/1-pane and inner 4/1-pane sashes. Rear has dormers with
cornices and hipped wings. INTERIOR: No.30 has late C19
staircase with turned balusters and newels.
