Semi-detached houses. 1841-3. Developed by C.H.Hill. Brick
with dressings of stucco, roof of slate. Two storeys, two
windows each, the entrance set back in a lower two-storey bay
to the side: stucco porch with antae, entablature and blocking
course; flat-arched entrance with overlight and panelled door
of original design; round-arched blank window to first floor
over entrance. The main front has flat-arched windows with
heads of gauged brick to both houses, and sashes of original
design except to ground floor of no 42; boxed eaves; stack to
party wall; dormers to sides of hipped roof; single-storey C20
extension to side of both houses.
