House. Early C19. Red brick, hipped slate roof. Rectangular
plan. 2 storeys. Front, S elevation: symmetrical 3 window
range. Roof has deep eaves with stacks at outer walls, central
front door within segmental arched recess with voussoirs.
Doorway has C20 segmental arched projecting canopy on shaped
brackets, fluted pilasters, overlight with segmental head,
door of 6 recessed panels. Window each side also have
segmental heads. On first floor, windows are in rectangular
wooden frames. All windows are sashes with horns. At W end,
ground floor lean-to with round window. Rear, N elevation: 2
storey C20 addition in rendered brick but old red brick stack
towards E end suggesting that house was originally of L-plan.
Central doorway, door with 2x2 upper glazing, to W, triple
window with glazing bars, 1x4,4x4,1x4, panes. To E, round
window. First floor, 3 similar 3x4 paned sash window. W side
elevation: continuous ground floor C20 lean-to which extends
across C20 rear addition. One first floor 3x4 paned sash
window with moulded architrave, one ground floor C20 paired
sash window in lean-to, both sashes 3x4 panes.
