3 houses. Late C17 with C19 rebuilding and refenestration.
Timber-framed and plastered, brick, peg-tiled roof,
Rectangular. 2 storeys and attic. E front elevation: 3
windows, 3 door range with C19 facade gable at N end with
shaped barge-boards, 2 ridge stacks. Ground floor, C19 brick,
rendered. 3 C19 sash windows, doors of 4 flush bead-moulded
panels. First floor timber-framed and rendered. 3 flush
2-light casement windows with central stile, glazing bars, 2x3
panes. Similar window in attic gable but 2x2 panes. Rear W
elevation similar to front, brick below, timber framing above
and similar fenestration. No rear gable at N end. The 1843
drawing of Gold Street by TC Diblin shows the block with no
facade gable but a high carriageway in the same bay.
