GV II

Rectory, now house and offices. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 and late C20
alterations. Handmade brick on limestone rubble base, rendered to north
elevation with partly hipped slate roofs and brick end stacks. Three storeys
with dentilled eaves cornice. One plus three bays; windows all have cambered
heads. Single-bay part has a 4-pane ground floor sash and 12-pane sashes on
the upper floors. Three-bay part has glazed double doors inserted into the
ground floor openings and 4-pane sashes on the upper floors. A two-storey
wing adjoins the front of the single-bay part which has a half-glazed door
with a 4-pane transom light and flanked by multi-paned windows all grouped
beneath a timber lintel on the ground floor and a 12-pane first floor sash
window. Main entrance to rear right side has an open pediment, engaged columns,
panelled reveals and soffit, a 6-panelled door and a barred segmental fanlight.
