House, 1690 (datestone). Roughcast, with stone slate roof. Continuous
hoodmould to ground floor, over two bays to left, and one to right of chamfered
elliptical-headed doorway, over which is a panel of shield shape: G X S 1690
with what appears to be a heart beneath. The window are double chamfered stone
mullioned, to ground floor of 4,5, and 3 (formerly 4) lights; to first floor of
3,3, 1 (over the doorway) and 3 lights. Two chimneys. Interior: not inspected
but may be of interest.
