II
House, C17 origin but altered C18 and C19. Rubble, part whitewashed, stone
slate roof. Irregular, mainly of two storeys but with west wing of three. Main
range runs north-south with four chimneys on the ridge, of which the second is
large and moulded, and the fourth is external on the south gable, massive and
stepped. In the west wall towards the south a round headed stair window of
C18. The west wing is gabled and has sashes, mainly of four panes. Most of the
windows on the east side have been altered. Interior: not inspected but may be
of interest.
