House and attached outbuilding. House dated 1777, outbuilding late C18 -
early C19. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof.
2-storey, 2-bay house with added bay to left. Quoins to house and outbuilding
bays House: central half-glazed 4-panel door in slightly projecting
surround with tie-stone jambs. Flanking and first-floor windows are 4-pane
sashes in plain stone surrounds, those to ground floor slightly taller.

Plaque over entrance has inscription: I M in an arched frame with
1777
foliage decoration. Blind round-arched recess above in architrave with
keystone and corniced imposts. Bay to left: square window in plain surround
with 4-pane casement to ground floor right; straight flight of steps to left
reaches a platform above the window supported on a moulded stone bracket.
Board door, tie-stone jambs. Plain eaves brackets, shaped kneelers, gable
copings, end banded stacks to house, that to left possibly a dummy.
