SJ 42 SE MYDDLE C.P. ALDERTON

Farmhouse, now house. Early C19. Red brick with hipped slate roof.
2 storeys at front and 3 storeys at rear. Brick ridge stacks off-
centre to left and right. 3 bays; glazing bar sashes with painted
stone lintels. Central 6-panelled door with margin-light rectangular
overlight; grey sandstone tetrastyle Greek Doric porch with paired
fluted columns, unfluted pilasters, and entablature with blocking course
above. Right-hand return front with one 3-light segmental-headed wooden
casement on each floor to right. Interior not inspected.
