Row of 3 cottages. C17, C18 with C20 alterations. Timber-framed
with brick infill, No 3 refronted in brick. Partial stone
plinth. Thatched roof with 1 gable stack, 2 ridge stacks, 2
storeys. West front: 6 bays of square framing with braces with,
to right, 3 bays of brick. From left to right: No 1, 3 bay, has
a doorway with thatched canopy and C20 plank door. To right a
C20 3-light casement with flat arch. Above, a similar window,
with to left a panel with exposed wattle and daub. Attached to
left a C20 single-storey, brick and plain titled extension. No
2, 3 bays, has a doorway with thatched canopy and 6-panel door.
To left a 3-light casement with flat arch. Above, a similar
window. No 3, 3 bays, has a doorway with thatched canopy and 4-
panel door. To left, a 2-light casement with cambered arch. To
right, a 3-light casement with flat arch. Above to left, a 3-
light casement and to right, a 3-light casement, both with flat
arches. Attached to right a C20 single-storey brick and slate
roofed extension.
INTERIOR: No. 1 has exposed main beam and joists, with stops.
No 2 is said to have similar beams and joists.
