Barn east of Arnold's Farmhouse)

Barn. C18. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, on plinth of red
brick in English bond, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 9
bays aligned WNW-ESE with 2 midstreys to SSW. Plinth approx
one metre high. Both midstreys blocked, no apertures to SSW.
The NNE side has three C19 windows of 20, 20 and 9 fixed
lights respectively, 2 pairs of great doors, and a high
loading door. INTERIOR: unjowled posts, primary straight
bracing, bolted handing knees to straight tie-beams. Frame all
of hardwood of high quality. Lean-to to SSW demolished.
