House, probably weaver's cottage. Early C18. Coursed squared
stone with ashlar dressings; roof of stone slates with stone
gable copings and chimney. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Moulded
early C18 surround at left to boarded passage door. Inserted
glazed door to right of that with flat stone lintel.
Projecting stone surrounds to 16-pane ground-floor sash,
12-pane sashes on first floor, and smaller top-floor lights,
the outer with 9 panes and the central with 3 wide and 3
narrow panes. Roof has gable copings, the right on
cyma-recta-moulded kneeler, the left kneeler missing. Left
gable and kneeler appear to be now part of adjacent property,
No.25 (qv). INTERIOR: not inspected.
