Weaver's house, later 2 houses, now one. Dated: 1727 CW;
restored 1981 for Teesdale Buildings Preservation Trust.
Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and some quoins; roof of
stone slates with stone ridge, chimneys and gable copings. 3
storeys; 3-window range. Ground floor restored with central
2-panel door in carved lintel with date and initials. 6-pane
sashes in raised stone surrounds flanking door and 4-pane on
first floor are renewed. Second floor has tooled stone
surrounds to row of 8 conjoined windows with restored 9-pane
fixed lights. Roof has gable copings resting on moulded
kneelers; end chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
