Terraced house. c.1776-88, as part of the Duke of Manchester's development
of Manchester Square on Portman land. Stock brick with channelled stucco
ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 2 windows
wide. Doorway to left with composite pilasters carrying entablature,
panelled door and fanlight. Recessed sashes under flat gauged red brick
arches. Ground floor stuccowork finished off with plat band at 1st floor
sill level. Parapet with stone coping. Cast iron area railings with urn
finials.
