Barn, built c.1844 shortly after the Enclosure. Locally fired
red brick; hipped slate roof of six bays. Two, high, double
entries with eliptical arches in south facing elevation.
Geometric ventilation holes. Interior has two thrashing floors;
tie beams supported on brick buttresses with arch braces and
Queen struts to side purlins. Two adjacent rows of contemporary
stables, red brick with slate roofs, form east and west
boundaries to stock yard.
