House. First half of C17. Timber framed, the facade cased in colourwashed brick, the remainder plastered. Thatched roof. 1½ storeys. Small 2-cell form. 2 windows, mid C20 small-paned metal casements. Central stack with cross-axial red brick shaft. C20 door in right gable end, older boarded door in left gable end. 2-bay frame with plain but substantial studding. Plain joists, set flat, in both ground floor rooms, their outer ends supported on ledges. Part of one floor cut for a C20 stair, with evidence for an earlier stairtrap adjacent. The roof appears to be of clasped purlin form.
