9/17 Eastfield House Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. C19 incorporating part of C18 house. Cl9 build of squared
limestone, C18 build of squared sandstone with quoins; pantile roof and
brick and stone stacks. Central-staircase plan, 1½ rooms deep, with
earlier part to side. 2-storey, 2-window front, with lower set-back
2-storey, 1-window wing to left. Central door of 6 raised panels and
16-pane sashes with painted stone sills. Painted lintels to all openings.
Coped gables and end stacks. Earlier part has board door to right of tall
3-light, small-pane horizontal-sliding sash, both beneath a continuous
painted lintel. Similar shorter window to first floor. Rebuilt end left
stack.
