3/124 New House Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse, dated 1813 on south west gable datestone. Coursed shelly stone walls.
Thatch roof with gable-ends, steep pitch and high ridge. Stone gable copings.
2 brick stacks at gable ends. 2 tall storeys with cellars beneath. 3 windows.
3-light cast iron casements with leaded lights and ornamental arch-leading at
the head. Gauged stone voussoirs to window heads. Front door at centre with
flush and fielded panels and 2 lights at top. Simple open porch with chamfered
posts and segmental heads. Flat lead roof over.
