House. Probably mid-late C17 but remodelled mid C19. Soft red brick English
bond, stuccoed mid C19 and incised in imitation of stone ashlar. Roof of
slate with mid C19 ridge stack of four grouped octagonal shafts on
rectangular base. Parapetted gable ends with similar end stacks. Plan of
main range with outshut at rear. Two storeys and attic. Principal elevation
with three mid-late C17 shaped gables, framed by rusticated pilaster strips.
The outer gables each have moulded reveals to a cross-frame casement in the
attic storey above a two storey canted bay. Centre gable has a casement in a
stepped arch with dripmould, above a Roman Doric porch to off-centre entry.
Rusticated doorway surround in round arch and panelled door. Inside plan of
central hall and stairbay with flanking dining room and parlour. C18
open-string staircase with column balusters to newels and moulded rail.
