House, now subdivided. c1790. Gault brick with paler bricks to front wall
and red brick arches to windows. Parapetted steeply pitched roof, possibly
of Collyweston slates, and original end stacks with string course. Plan of
single range with outshut at rear. Two storeys and attics. Three dormers.
Symmetrical elevation of five recessed twelve pane hung sashes in flat gauged
red brick arches. Plain band at eaves height and between storeys. Central
doorway with original broken pedimented doorcase of moulded pilasters with
plain entablature. Original door of four raised and fielded and two flush
panels and fanlight with radial and swagged glazing bars. Inside:
Symmetrical plan of parlour and dining room flanking a hall and stairbay.
Original staircase not seen but believed to be intact. Late C18 door of six
raised and fielded panels.
