Guidepost at the junction of Cliff Road, Hill Top Road and Acton Lane

Guidepost: late C19 for the Northwich Rural District Council.
Cast-iron. Slightly tapering octagonal post has a moulded plinth and
cap with a ball finial. Shield on shaft reads NRDC, and the 3
original fingerplates with nicked corners give directions to Acton
Station, Acton Cliff, and Runcorn and Warrington.
Included for group value.
