Cottage. Early C17 and C19. Narrow coursed rubblestone, painted with C19
brick to rebuilt gable end. Reed thatch and tumbled brick parapet on moulded
stone kneelers. End stacks rebuilt. Two bay plan. One storey and attic.
Two gable dormers. Two windows and doorway at left hand opposite the
stack. Rear elevation retains two original windows with chamfered stone
surrounds and mullions but later casements. Inside: Stop chamfered main
beam with joists laid on edge. Some inserted stone in one ground floor room.
