Inn. Late C18 in origin but substantially remodelled in mid C19. Local
brick with mid C19 grey gault brick to mid C19 front wall. Roof raised mid
C19 and slated but steep pitch and tumbling still visible in right hand gable
end. Plan of range to Market Place with wing at rear forming an L-plan. Two
storeys. Symmetrical mid C19 elevation of six recessed hung sashes flanking
a gabled centre bay with a small bulls eye window above a tripartite hung
sash. Below, a central doorway in four-centred arch with doorcase of
pilasters, and a cornice on plain scroll brackets and surmounted by ball
finials. Rear range, late C18, brick with steeply pitched roof.
