Barn now dairy store. C16-C17 core probably encased early is, altered.
Fragmentary timber framing, rubble magnesian limestone, stone slate eaves
courses to pantile roof. Single storey, 6 bays. Large quoins. Large
boarded doors to right of centre with quoined right-hand jamb and wooden
lintel; 2 raking buttresses on left with blocked doorway beyond; triangular
vents. Shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings.

Interior: upper parts of wall posts and associated tie bean visible in left
gable; adjacent bay division also has wall posts and one oriqinal curved
brace to a tie beam; later principal-rafter trusses. Formed part of South
Farm although must once have been associated with Skellow Hall to its west.
Other adjoining farmbuildings not of special interest.
