House. C16-C17. Timber framed with brick noggings, and brick, with
Bridgewater and plain tiled roofs. Two storeys, four bays with
single storey cross wing at south end. Central block of three bays
with large central stack, originally timber framed, with central
bay having timber framed gable inserted into earlier frame. This
gable has moulded jetty beam and corbels, and ogee braces of late
C16 type. Remainder of central block much altered, with timber
door to lobby opposite stack, and living room to right. Left bay
is a taller 2-storey C19 brick addition. At lower, right, end, a
single storey timber framed cross wing, now infilled with C19
brickwork. Roof half hipped. Interior not accessible, and may be
of interest.
