Farmhouse. Late C16-early C17. Timber framed with patterned brick
noggings, part rebuilt and colourwashed pebbledash. Stone tiled
roof. Two storeys, originally 'T' plan with present entrance in
stem of 'T' to through hallway. Cross wing of two and a half bays
to right. Part-glazed door under stone tiled pent roof, the lintel
chamfered, with elaborate bar stops. Canted 3-light oriel to first
floor over entrance, with ovolo mullions and head, and billetted
sill supported on an applied timber corbel. Ogee corner braces.
Cross wing on north is of 2 storeys and attic, 4 panels high with
corner braces and gable stack. Left end was rebuilt after fire in
early C20.
Interior; sitting room in cross wing has moulded bolection.
