House. Late C16 or early C17. Timber framed with wattle and daub
infill and one-bay cross wing of whitewashed brick. Thatched roof.
Three bays plus cross wing bay at south end, the northern bay
containing the entrance behind the stack. Two narrow central bays
forming original hall. Framing on front only, 3 panels high with
ogee corner braces. Recessed entrance with boarded door. Paned
timber windows and thatch swept over flush dormer to central upper
chamber. Wing slightly projects and is gabled, with similar
windows in segmental headed openings and a blocked door. Lateral
external stack. Small outbuilding at right angles to rear. Hall
bays internally have moulded cross beams.
