II
Barn. Late C18. Timber framed, faced on east and gables in brick,
English garden wall bond. Pantiled roof. Framing weatherboarded
on high brick sills. Nine bays, with midstreys in bays 3 and 6,
and lean-to additions between. Wall framing of wide spaced posts
and straight tension braces. Roof has king post and tied beam
trusses, with braces to jowled wall posts. Double tier of purlins.
Ninth bay is divided off by a brick wall of half height.
