Terrace walls. 1904-8 by Sir Ernest George. Squared and coursed grey limestone,
with ruddy-coloured limestone to balustrade and detailing. Jacobean-style
balustrade with plain ashlar piers. Steps to front and sides have similar
flanking balustrades with winged lead putti surmounting tall piers at top of
each flight. Encloses raised garden terrace approximately 80 x 15 metres to rear
of Eynsham Hall (q.v.).
