Two houses. C17 to left and late C18 with earlier C17 origins to right. No.39 to
left of coursed limestone rubble with gabled thatch roof and brick ridge stacks.
2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. C20 lean-to stone slate porch to left.
Timber lintels over C20 three-light casement to right and C19 two-light
casements with glazing bars on first floor. No.39 to right of coursed limestone
rubble with gabled stone slate roof and brick end stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Similar C20 porch to right. C19 two-light casement with glazing
bars to left and C20 two-light casements on first floor. C18 outshut to right.
Interior of No.39: chamfered beams and collar-truss with butt purlins; winder
stairs adjoin stack to right. No.59 not inspected but noted as having open
fireplace and chamfered beams.
