House, now shop and flat, with entrance under to adjacent
public house at No.7 (qv). Mid C18 with late C19 and C20
alterations. Painted render with painted stone dressings and
plinth, rubble right return, Welsh slate roof with stone
chimney. 2 storeys; 2-window range, with blank wall at left of
elevation. Vehicle entrance at left with double boarded doors
under boarded screen to segmental-headed arch with boarded
voussoirs. C20 shop front has deeply recessed renewed glazed
door, and window with glazing bars in imitation of Georgian
style; plain fascia. Oriel canted bays on first floor have
wood mullions, 4-pane sashes, and corniced flat roofs. Roof
has almost square-plan stone chimney at right end with flat
stone coping. INTERIOR: not inspected.
