House, now shop and flat. Probably late C18, with C19
alterations. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings; roof
of stone slates with stone ridge and stone gable copings.
Chimney is part of brick chimney on ridge of No.29. 2 storeys
and attic; 2-window range. Low ground floor has wide passage
entrance at right under painted lintel. Shop front at left has
plate-glass windows, canted to glazed door at right, with
transom lights under plain fascia. High second storey has
plain sashes with flat stone lintels and projecting stone
sills. Roof has eaves cast-iron gutter on moulded wood
brackets, and 2 gabled dormers with plain sashes to fronts and
returns, and pierced bargeboards. Chimney probably shared with
brick stack at right end of No.29 (qv).
