Pair of attached houses, now offices. Early C18. Brick and
render, brick end stacks, slate dormers and pantile roof.
Double-depth plan. Early Georgian style. 3 storeys and attic;
3-window range. C20 shop front to No.36 below brick upper
floors, right-hand full-height canted bay, which interupts a
deep modillion eaves cornice which returns at the ends.
Concrete lintels to first-floor plate-glass sashes, string and
enlarged second-floor C20 casements, and 2 hipped dormers; the
bay has small modillion cornices to each floor, and C20 sashes
with margin bars and flanking plate-glass sashes. INTERIOR:
completely remodelled c1985.
