Factory. c1880s. Coursed limestone rubble with Ham Hill stone
quoins and dressings; slate roof. Palazzo style. 3 storeys;
10-window range, comprising 5 bays articulated by pilasters
rising from plinth through continuous platband to entablature.
Paired windows with small panes to the tops and larger ones
below, separated by square-section mullions. The attic above
the entablature has 8/2 casements in a recess with a rolled
arris to the top. The first-floor has tall round-arch windows
of 16/6-panes over a platband; the ground-floor has similar
but flat-arched windows. INTERIOR not inspected. HISTORY: the
West Somerset and Devon Shirt Factory moved from Market Street
in 1875, marked on O.S. map of 1886 as a shirt factory.
