A Grade II* Listed Building in Benenden, Kent

Watermill House in Winter

Uploader's Comments

The front aspect of Watermill House showing the classic Wealden Hall House double jetty being here both front and side, giving rise to two external "root ends" and two internal "dragon beams". The uniquely large windows at the southern end are reputed to have been designed to sell produce to passers by on the (former) Roman road which passed through the current front garden.
