Estate cottage: 1844 for George Walmesley with C20 alterations to windows. Ashlar buff sandstone, corrugated iron roof and two brick chimneys. L-shaped plan. Two-storey, three-bay front. Chamfered plinth, raised quoins. Left end bay projects under barge-boarded and traceried gable, with two horizontally hinged windows under label moulds. Central bay has a projecting chamfered four-centred arched porch with a lancet in the side. Similar windows in right end bay, the lower one under a label mould.
