House, dated 1686 on the gable, of whitewashed brick on a shallow plinth. Pantile roof. First floor decorative band of brick. Six bays, four of casement windows under segmental arches and a central doorway. Over the doorway is an oval plaque inscribed "White House". On the first floor above the doorway a round window. The arched brickwork over the top of another doorway, blocked in the early C18, can just be seen on the left. Attached to the left of the house is a red brick and pantile early C18 barn, set on a plinth with its whitewashed gable end to the road. The barn has been converted into a two storey dwelling.(Photo Nov 2013).
