Originally one storey stone building altered later C19 into present lodge
building of one storey and attics. The heightening was done in red brick.
Slate roof with stone gable coping, moulded kneelers and finials. L-plan.
Projecting gabled wing to E. has attic 2-light casement window with glazing
bars under drip mould. Similar ground floor window. Again same style of
window to S. of this in main wing. To N. is one storey brick porch with
parapet. Gabled doorhood on moulded brackets and with cusped fretwork
bargeboards. S. gable end has C20 attic window, ground floor canted bay
window.
