1886. Tall rectangular marble block with shaped head; circular marble bowl
and trough fitted on to it at east side and small semi-circular basin on
columned shaft with lead spout over fitted on at west side. Inscription
on supporting block says that the Fountain was given to the inhabitants
of Romsey Municipel Borough by Lord Mount-Temple in July 1886. Both small
and larger basin now used for growing flowers.
