Early to mid C19. 3-storeys. Red tiled gabled roof with flanking stacks.
Red brick front. Brick eaves cornice. 3 windows. On upper floors, sash
windows 3 panes wide in shallow brick reveals; rubbed brick voussoirs. On
ground floor roof of original C19 bank or shop front extends over wide C20
plate-glass shop window which occupied the whole width of the front (plate-glass
doors at east end). At either end, late C19 rusticated pilasters with
alternate bands of vermiculation; cable course over; frieze with small quatrefoil
with foliated carving inset within; moulded cornice. At west end, frieze
and cornice return behind and westwards over blind semi-circular rusticated
arch with impost moulding and mask keystone; foliated carving in frieze
with inscription "Bank".
