Circa 1830 to 40. Corner site with Melville Street. Large villa of
two storeys and basement, cement rendered. Low pitch hipped slate
roof with projecting bracketed eaves. Two stuccoed chimney stacks
on eaves to North and South, each pair linked by stucco parapet with
arched opening to base. Three windows, recessed, sash glazing bars
intact, block sills. Central recessed door of three panels, rectangular
fanlight with marginal glazing bars. Moulded frame, plain surround.
Greek Doric porch, set on plinth at top of flight of five steps, pilas-
ters to wall, frieze has modern facia board, cornice and blocking course
over. Modern single storey wing on North side.
