Two terraced houses. Early to mid C19. Red brick (No.71 rendered), slate roof with brick ridge stacks. Two storeys, dentilled brick eaves cornice; two and three bays, glazing bar sash windows on first floor, later angled bays (with casements to No.71) on ground floor, separated by broad pier strips. No.70 has central pedimental Tuscan doorcase and four panel door with rectangular overlight. No.71 has an arched doorway to left, C20 door, mid C19 cast iron railings to front. No.71 included for group value only.
