The Red House
II
House, converted to community centre. Late C18 with late C20 additions and alterations. Red brick on sandstone plinth with plain tiled hipped roof. Three storeys; three bay entrance front with central doorway; glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads, reduced proportions to top floor; six panelled door with rectangular fanlight; Tuscan portico, detached columns and pilasters, triangular pediment on fragmentary entablature. Brick modillion eaves cornice. Two central C20 brown brick chimney stacks. Late C20 extension to right and to rear.
