C16 or earlier. Timber framed house with plastered walls of 2 storeys and 3
bays. Ground storey with west facing front door of 6 fielded panels in wide
case with leaded flat hood on consoles. Three sets of 3 casements. First storey
3 Sets of 3 casements and 2 double ones in the interspaces. Roof hipped and
peg-tiled with eaves. Red brick chimney stack near centre of plan which is
U-shaped with main roof-shape carried down to first storey. Stairs tower in
north-east return probably an open hall when built.
